Mr. and Mrs. Kyung came down from Osaka for the weekend, and were special guests for our July neighborhood Tea Time. He spoke about how great God’s love for us is, and introduced a song, “The Love of the Cross” that he and his wife have translated into Japanese.
The Hannah Fellowship ladies had a great lunch at Pisorino (pizza & pasta restaurant) today. With 50 varieties of pizza on the menu, there were plenty of new kinds to try!
People from at least eight churches in Miyazaki attended Mr. Takahara’s lecture on Bible prophecy and world affairs on Saturday afternoon. Several others came from Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Oita Prefectures, including some who listen to his messages on the internet and wanted to hear him in person.

Cross-Culture Connections held an English Fun Day to interact with high school students who want to practice their English skills. We had team Minute-to-Win-it challenges, English songs, and introduced them to S’mores.
Golden Week–a string of holidays at the beginning of May–ended on Sunday so MICF met at Kibana Park. Sharing high points and low points was a good way to get to know the new members better.
