MICF presents a bilingual Family Christmas program for the community at the Kiyotake Culture Center every December.
Bible House is a place where Japanese and internationals in Miyazaki City get together regularly for fellowship and Bible study. It is the home of Al and Rhonda Juve, located near Miyazaki University.
Miyazaki International Christian Fellowship is made up of Japanese students, workers, and families as well as internationals who have come to Miyazaki to work or study. People from over forty different countries have attended MICF on Sunday evenings.
Picnics are occasionally held at a park or the beach. For Easter, friends from twelve countries joined our international barbecue and music program at a park near Bible House.
Florante is a 12-acre year-around flower park in Miyazaki City, with walking paths among the seasonal flower displays.
The elementary school JOY Club students enjoyed making Christmas cards at their Christmas party.

Cross-Culture Connections holds recreation, culture exchange, and volunteer activities to interact with people living in Miyazaki. This is a New Zealand presentation for students at Miyazaki University.
Kyushu is the southernmost of the four main islands of Japan. Miyazaki, along the east coast, is one of its seven prefectures and has a subtropical climate.
Miyazaki has a scenic coastline on the east, and beautiful mountains to the west. Aoshima island and beach, just a few minutes drive from Bible House, is very popular with surfers and tourists.
The Hannah Fellowship prayer group has been holding their Friday meetings online. These ladies met regularly at Bible House for many years, and now continue to pray for each other’s family and friends by video chat. Continue reading

On December 22, MICF had a Candle Night worship followed by a special snack time. We also played a game in which people could keep any items they uncovered in a plastic-wrap ball before their turn ran out. We’re thankful for everyone who joined us to celebrate the birth of Jesus last night, including over 100 Japanese friends, along with international students and short-term English teachers from 15 other countries.
